“Elegant contemporary restaurant-cafe-bar, great food, good prices in a beautiful location”
We are neighbours, live in Greenwich and enjoy very much being members of all the Greenwich Museums (the Brasserie is part of one) Once strolling in Greenwich Park which is part of Unesco Heritage sites with plenty of things to do around, discovered this local gem at the new Samy Ofer wing at the National Maritime Museum. I was struck by the pleasing contemporary architecture against the old museum building, my partner being a chef was curious about the menu, so we had a look and were happy to discover they do source locally and fresh, having a very good selection of food and drinks, all very reasonably priced. We were so pleased with the place, the food and the setting that decided to do our wedding reception there too last June. The event manager and chef were always very flexible and helpful, assisted planning the event, giving tips and recommendations, putting a special menu together for the day, sourcing delicious food, fresh edible flowers, and also encouraged to organise a cheese tasting in the evening, which was top class, everyone was pleased. They also accommodated a marquee in the terrace to have more guests, a local Gypsy Jazz-Tango-Folk band (from the Laban Conservatoire) and a friend that decided to do some Flamenco dance for us! The evening was fantastic fun. The whole team @ the Brasserie were great through the day and evening, even from the day before helping with the space set-up, they did a beautiful job with all flowers, tables and hanging arrangements, it looked gorgeous, for that they deserve a special mention too. So thanks so much to all at the Brasserie and see you very soon in our next visit!
